About Education Edge

Education Edge is a private tutoring center located in Fort Mill, South Carolina. It was founded by Kristen Kaney Hahn, an educator, with the notion that kids really need one-on-one instruction that taps into their individual passions and skills.

Education Edge's Mission

Our mission is to tap into the passion of individual students to provide an edge in learning. Quality and individual attention are our focus. Our teachers combine higher order thinking skills, technology, and passion to prepare students for the competitive real world. We build relationships first, then teach, giving students the EDGE they need for a successful future.

About Kristen Hahn

Kristen Kaney Hahn holds a Bachelors Degree from Loyola Marymount University, a National Board Certification in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy, as well as valid teaching certificates in California and South Carolina. She has taught 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades, along with tutoring students in grades K-8. She received the high honor of Teacher of the Year 2006-2007 from her school in Rock Hill, SC. Kristen's dream has always been to open a private tutoring center where students can have fun learning while getting the edge they need for the challenges of tomorrow. Education Edge is that dream come true!
